Congratulations to Natalia Kononenko for qualifying to compete at the London Olympics! Natalia competed at the Test Event today and finished in 39'th place (52.465) in the All Around Final.
Qualifications - Ostrava Challenger Cup 2011
Today was the qualifications for the Ostrava Challenger Cup!
Congratulations to Angelina Kislaya for qualifying in first (13.575) in the Floor Final! Alina Fomenko qualified in 4'th place for the final. On the Vault, Angelina Kislaya and Alina Fomenko qualified in 6'th and 7'th place respectively. For the Uneven Bars, Natalia Kononenko qualified in 6'th place, with Angelina Kislaya qualifying in 8'th place. Finally, on the Beam, Yana Demyanchuk qualified in 2'nd place. Tomorrow is the first day of the Ostrava World Cup in the Czech Republic. Qualifications will be held on Friday and the event finals will take place on Saturday.

It has been announced by FIG that Natalia Kononenko has a new skill named after her on the Uneven Bars! The Element is defined as: Long swing fwd, counter straddle reverse Hecht with 1/2 turn (180°) to hang on HB in mix grip. The element value is E. 7'th Dynamo International
Congratulations to Natalia Kononenko for winning the All Around Bronze at the 7'th Dynamo International! Natalia finished in 6'th place, with 5 Russian gymnasts ahead, but because only two gymnasts per country qualify for medals, Natalia won the Bronze.

Ukraine has registered their team for the World Championship! Yana Demyanchuk, Angelina Kislaya, Alina Fomenko, Mariya Luvchikova, Yevheniya Cherniy, and Natalia Kononenko are selected to represent Ukraine. Good luck to all of them.

Yesterday the Ukraine Championship concluded. Natalia won three medals at the competition! She won on the Uneven Bars and in the Team competition, representing Kiev. She won the bronze on beam as well!

Interview with Head Coach and Natalia Kononenko
